Taking the beloved hummus to the next level with the most beautifully golden addition of turmeric and spices!
250 grams Cooked chickpeas
75 grams Tahini
50 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 large clove of Garlic (crushed)
Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
1 tsp Golden Turmeric
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tsp crushed black pepper
100 ml Filtered Water
1 Tbsp salt
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth and creamy.
Check for seasoning and add more lemon juice if required.
Add more water depending on how you like the texture to be.
Serve with a swirl of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika.
